Design Philosophy

 -257.jpg

Design begins where excess ends.

For us, form is never decoration. It is the result of careful consideration, where every line, proportion, and detail exists for a reason. We believe that the most enduring objects are often the simplest, not because less is inherently better, but because nothing unnecessary remains.

Every Forme begins with proportion. Before selecting leather, hardware, or colour, we study the silhouette itself. The balance of its weight. The curve of its handle. The way it stands when placed down. The way it rests against the body when carried. These decisions are rarely noticed individually, yet together they determine how natural a piece feels from the very first wear.

We do not design around trends or seasonal relevance. We return to the same forms repeatedly, refining them until they no longer feel new, but inevitable. Each adjustment is made to improve function, proportion, or longevity. Nothing is added simply for decoration, and nothing remains without purpose.

Our approach to colour follows the same philosophy. We are drawn to tones that become part of a wardrobe rather than the centre of it. Colours chosen not for a particular season, but for the way they accompany everyday life and develop quietly alongside the person carrying them.

Rooted in the Emirates and crafted in Spain, the house is shaped by two places that value endurance in different ways. One teaches us the importance of building with intention and looking toward the future. The other preserves generations of leather craftsmanship, where knowledge is passed from one maker to the next. Together, they continue to shape the way we think about permanence, quality, and restraint.

We believe the best design rarely asks to be noticed.

It earns its place through years of use.
